I’m running for the 74th State Assembly District because, like many of you, I’m frustrated and concerned about the lack of problem solving in Sacramento. In 15 years of working in local government as a volunteer and elected official, I’m proud of my accomplishments and record.

I’ve been able to hone my skills as a member of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) board of directors and the Del Mar City Council, and I will take those talents to Sacramento. Difficult decisions need to be made. The time for political gamesmanship is over.

I will work toward assuring that every resident of the State of California has an opportunity to get a good education, enjoy rewarding employment, and have access to affordable and reliable health care.

I will maintain a focus on the primary concerns of our district: the economy, jobs, small businesses; education at all levels; water resources; land use and its effects on transportation and the environment; and disaster preparedness.
